Course Objectives
To enable participants to plan, perform, and report the results of internal quality audits to develop and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) of an Organisation. To help participants understand the key attributes of an efficient and effective QMS and the role of the internal auditor in its continual improvement and development.
Course Content
This two-day Internal Auditor Training course is delivered via a mixture of presentation & group exercises. The course will cover the following areas.
- The process-based quality management system model for ISO 9001 and the role of an internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of quality management systems.
- The role and responsibilities of internal auditors.
- Planning, preparing, conducting, and reporting and following up internal audits, following ISO 19011.
- Report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the quality management system following ISO 19011.

To gain maximum benefit from this course attendees should be familiar with the content and structure of the standard. This may be evidenced through relevant experience or through having previously completed a Quality Management Systems Foundation Course.
