As we move into Q2, it’s already shaping up to be a busy and productive year for QHSE Aberdeen.
Following a strong start to 2026, we’re pleased to share some key updates, including team growth, expanded ISO training courses, and important developments in ISO standards that may impact your organisation.
Strengthening Our Team
We’re delighted to have welcomed two new team members in Q1. Their experience enhances our ability to support organisations with ISO consultancy, auditing, and training across multiple sectors.
Investing in Staff Training
As businesses continue to invest in their people, staff training plays a key role in improving compliance, strengthening internal processes, and driving long-term success. It also ensures teams have the knowledge and confidence to effectively manage ISO standards and audits.
Our CQI and IRCA-certified training courses remain in high demand, supporting organisations in developing competent internal auditors and strengthening their management systems.

ISO 14001:2026 Revision – What’s Changing?
ISO standards are regularly reviewed to keep pace with an ever-changing world, and the 2026 update to ISO 14001 is no exception. Rather than a complete overhaul, this revision refines the existing standard—making it clearer, more practical, and easier to apply within your organisation.
There’s a stronger focus on today’s key environmental priorities, including climate change, biodiversity, and resource efficiency. The updated structure is more intuitive, helping organisations navigate requirements with greater ease while continuing to align seamlessly with other ISO management system standards.
To support organisations through this update, QHSE Aberdeen has developed a dedicated ISO 14001:2026 Transition Training Course. This 1-day course will guide you through the key changes, explain their impact on your Environmental Management System (EMS), and give you the confidence to implement them effectively.
Places are limited, and early booking is recommended.
