ISO 45001:2018 Auditor Conversion (OHSMS) Training Course – 3 DAY (IRCA Approved)

Delegates are expected to possess a thorough understanding of the standard’s content and structure to benefit fully from this course. Prior relevant experience or successful completion of an IRCA-certified (or equivalent) ISO Lead Auditor Course may serve as evidence of this competency.

Before commencing the course, delegates must provide documented evidence demonstrating that they meet the prerequisite requirements, which may include the following:

  • Lead Auditor qualification in a different ISO standard
  • Completion of FD127 ISO 45001:2018 Foundation (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) Training Course

Course Objectives

This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, conduct, and report environmental audits effectively, to support the development and continual improvement of an organisation’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).  It also aims to enhance delegates’ understanding of the essential characteristics of a robust and efficient OHSMS and the critical role of the Lead Auditor in driving its ongoing improvement.

Course Content

This three-day Auditor Conversion Training course is delivered through a blend of presentations and interactive group exercises. The programme covers, but is not limited to, the following key areas:

  • Risk-based thinking in the context of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and audit leadership
  • Conducting and leading audits in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 requirements
  • Challenges and considerations in the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System

This course satisfies the training requirements for certification under IRCA’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System Scheme. Upon successful completion, delegates will receive an IRCA-recognised certificate.
